Local conditions can affect ringing times greatly so you are advised to contact the tower first if you are planning to visit.

For full tower details including contact information visit the relevant tower page.

The East Dorset Branch, originally called the ‘Wimborne Branch’, is amongst the largest in the Guild, covering an area of 300 square miles and containing more than 40 towers. We have a wide variety of towers given the huge area, including quaint village towers and larger town churches, including three former monasteries. We are fortunate to have in our branch the Purbeck Hills, Jurassic Coast, Sandbanks Peninsula and Cranborne Chase AONB, all of which provide stunning settings for our towers. We even have a tower that is only accessible by boat! Wherever you’re ringing, you’re sure of a warm welcome.

We also maintain our own website which you can find at eastdorset.sdgr.org.uk
