(aka Go Bellistic!)
The Salisbury Diocesan Guild of Ringers young ringers’ group welcomes all ringers under the age of 25.
We arrange practices and outings, giving young ringers the opportunity to meet and ring with people of a similar age and to develop their skills. Practices are held approximately once a month (normally on Saturday afternoons) and we usually visit two towers each time and enjoy refreshments in between. We visit different parts of the guild so that the same people don’t have to travel long distances every time.
Practices are open to all abilities and levels of experience; everyone is guaranteed plenty of ringing and the opportunity to do some calling if they wish. There are always sympathetic, experienced ringers on hand to lend support as necessary.
Details of practices can be found on our own calendar below as well as the main guild calendar. Practice information is emailed out to parents, who can also join our WhatsApp group if they wish.
Since 2019 we have regularly entered a team in the RWNYC and have taken part in events in places such as London, Liverpool, Worcester, Exeter and York. Other young ringers (aged 18 and under) not in the team are strongly encouraged to come along and enjoy this fantastic annual day out.
Please get in touch if you would like to get involved in our activities – we would love to see you!
