The Guild is divided into nine Branches, very unequal in size as they have developed over time to suit local ringing needs. Roughly speaking, four are in Wiltshire, three in Dorset, one spans the county boundary and the ninth, which joined us in November 2022, the Channel Islands.
From Royal Wootton Bassett in the north to our most southerly tower in St Helier in Jersey, from Hawkchurch near Lyme Regis in the west to Ham near Shalbourne in the east, the Salisbury Diocesan Guild of Ringers is one of the largest ringers Guilds in the country.
Ringers are welcome to attend the events of Branches other than their own if this suits them best, and in the true spirit of the ringing community, ringers from further afield are also welcome.
