Dedication of the new bells at Melksham

The dedication service for the augmentation of Melksham from eight to 10 bells by the addition of two new treble bells will take place at Melksham St Michael’s Church on Wednesday 22nd of April at 4.30pm.

Bishop Andrew Rumsey will be presiding before he departs Salisbury Diocese to become Bishop of St Albans at the end of the month. We have managed to get him to squeeze us in before he goes (hence the short notice)!

We are hoping to offer tea and cakes at the back of church after the service and all are welcome to attend. We recommend using the Melksham Campus Car Park which has an access gate to the churchyard and is free of charge for up to two hours.
