Named after our first benefactor, Rev Frank Llewellyn Edwards, the fund makes grants towards the restoration and augmentation of church bells in the Diocese of Salisbury. We try to support eligible projects with a grant of around 20% of the total project cost and over the last 5 years we have made grants totalling over £100,000.

The Lucas Legacy
In 2021 the LEBRF was left a bequest of £120,000 in the will of Phil Lucas HLM. He was the last member of the Lucas family of Trowbridge, all four of whom were HLM’s of the SDGR. They were staunch
