The robust health of change ringing in West Dorset was amply demonstrated by the fielding of ten teams in the branch’s striking competition which took place at Toller Porcorum on Saturday, 16 May.
There were two parallel competitions; Novice and General Open.
It was particularly pleasing that three teams took part in the Novice section where all teams acquitted themselves well.
The competition was good natured with the emphasis on bringing the branch together for a good social occasion which culminated in a superb tea and presentation of the results.
