The bellringers of Codford St Peter stayed up late on 31st December and cheerfully rolled up to the church at ten minutes to midnight, ready to greet 2024. On the stroke of 12 the fun began. Ten minutes later the ringers swapped their ropes for tumblers of mulled wine and drank to the New Year, with much laughter and enjoyment.
