New Olympic Sport?

When Sherborne Abbey exchanged their old cast iron tenor clapper (weighing one hundredweight) for a new one with a composite shaft which could finally be rung up right, they were loathed to throw away the old one. Someone suggested a new olympic sport of “Tossing the Clapper” and John Fry’s mind went into overdrive!
