Ringing Tips for Newer Ringers

Good bell handling and technique is central to good ringing and is at the heart of every goal in the ART Learning the Ropes scheme, at every level. Spending time getting small movements right so that they become part of your muscle memory is absolutely essential and time well spent. In this edition you will find some handling tips to help you maintain your technique in all situations and on any bell.

Tower Talk is the only publication dedicated to new ringers and this edition is packed with useful items and  advice shared by people who are currently learning and developing their skills.

This edition includes tips on ringing heavier bells, venturing further round the ringing circle, handling tips about taking in rope as well as gaining confidence at the balance on both handstroke and backstroke.

Highly recommended.
