Three Firsts and a Quarter!

On Monday 4th November a quarter peal of 1260 Plain Bob Doubles was rung during the Guild’s Quarter Peal Week.

Notable among those ringing were Lucie Payne (on treble) and Sue Taylor (on 4) who both were able to celebrate completing their first quarters but also Katie Smith, who was ringing her first quarter on an inside bell (number 2).

Fellow ringers Maggie Blue (ringing 3), Maureen Gardiner (conducting on 5) and James Clarke (tenor) completed the team, shown in the photograph herewith.

Our congratulations go to the three proud branch members on their ‘firsts’ and also to their three colleagues on the team’s success.
