On Saturday, 16th November members of the Salisbury Branch, their families and friends met at the Lake Estate Club in the Woodford Valley for the Annual Skittles Competition.
Eight teams of six people took part representing at least ten different towers in the Branch.
Two rounds of skittles were played with a buffet supper in between. Competition was intense as last year’s winners from Winterbourne Earls defended their title and the scoring was close.
This year the team from St. Martin’s, Salisbury were victorious with the Winterbourne Earls team a close second. Mike, from Winterbourne Earls, had the highest individual score. The prizes were presented by Liz Wrighton.
Thanks to everyone who donated raffle prizes, with the proceeds going to the LEBRF, and to the volunteers from the Estate Club who ‘manned’ the bar for the evening.
This is always a popular event on our social calendar and we look forward to next year’s event.
