Quarter Peal Review, 2024

595 quarter peals were recorded for the Guild in 2024 which is an increase of 145 on the total achieved in 2023, and the highest ever rung in a single year for the Guild. 94 of these were rung on handbells, mostly driven by prolific activity of the two bands at Hamworthy and Elizabeth College. On tower bells there were several bands ringing regular quarters across the branches ranging from Doubles (40% of the total) to Maximus.

Quarter Peals rung by Guild members in 2024

These quarter peals are Guild Quarters, that is quarters rung in 2024 with a majority of the band being Guild members. They are recorded against a branch if a majority of the band is made up of members of one branch (otherwise it is recorded as mixed). The figures for leading towers only include these Guild quarters.
